VII Forum of librarians of Belarus

On June, 13 Vitebsk regional library took part in the VII Forum of librarians of Belarus, organized by the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian library association, the National library of Belarus, the Fundamental library of the Belarusian state university.

The professional conference was united by the theme «Library, reading and books as an instrument of civic education and preservation of spiritual values». The program of the plenary session considered the issues of libraries' work in the conditions of digitalization, the practice of libraries' work with children and youth, library education and professional development of librarians, as well as interdepartmental interaction of libraries, multifunctionality and diversity of work forms.

Representatives of the library network of Vitebsk region took part in the report-election conference of the BLA (in online and offline formats) and the formation of the new Council of the Belarusian library association.
