On November 24, the VIII scientific-practical conference «The Vitebsk Region: To the Year of Historical Memory» was held in the library. More than 60 Belarusian scientists-historians and regional ethnographers shared their experience and the results of new researches in different fields of historical science.

On March 29, a meeting of regional methodological association of school librarians from secondary schools of Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk entitled «Effective forms and technologies in the library work» was held at the library. The event was organized within the project «Library to school».
On March 28, the library staff took part in a workshop for educators of after-school groups of Vitebsk secondary school № 40 on the topic «Formation of environmental consciousness of primary schoolchildren in the conditions of the after-school group».

On March 10, the meeting of the board of administration of culture of Vitebsk regional executive committee was held in Vitebsk. During the meeting the development of the branch of culture was discussed, were summed up the results of work for 2021 year, were defined the tasks for the current year.
