«Back to the USSR»

As part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin and the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk», on March 12, a cultural and leisure program «Back to the USSR» was held for visitors to the day care department for senior citizens.

The guests of the event were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Soviet era thanks to a selection of various attributes and household items from the USSR, as well as an exhibition of «scarce» books, for which people once lined up.

The program included an interactive part in the «question and answer» format about significant events of the Soviet era: prices for food and goods, popular games, famous artists, musical compositions and popular films.

In addition, the participants were able to share their memories and impressions, which made the meeting especially warm and sincere.
