Excursion for children of primary school age «Hello, library!»

The educational excursion around the library was conducted by the subscription staff on March 12 for the second-grade students of the secondary school № 18 of Vitebsk named after V. Smetanin.

The children got acquainted with the profession of a librarian, learned about the rules for using library services and received answers to many questions of interest to them. The children enjoyed visiting the children's literature department, rare books, the spiritual and educational center and the art literature department.

At the end of the excursion, the young readers received library cards, which was a real event for them. In addition, the library donated books for the school library, which will definitely become a source of inspiration and knowledge for all students.
