On the eve of Orthodox Book Day and within the framework of the targeted comprehensive program «Living Word of Spiritual Wisdom», on March 11, the library hosted an exciting intellectual game «Light of Bookish Understanding».

This event became a real celebration of knowledge and culture, bringing together students from the Vitebsk State Technical College and the Vitebsk State College of Electrical Engineering.

The game consisted of 9 rounds, each of which was dedicated to various aspects of the history of the book, literature and culture of Belarus. The participants demonstrated not only deep knowledge in the field of writing and printing, but also demonstrated analytical skills, the ability to think logically and compare facts.

During the event, a library exhibition «Light of the Orthodox Book» was organized, prepared by the staff of the local history department. The exhibition attracted the attention of participants and guests, providing a unique opportunity to get acquainted with rare editions and historical materials.

At the end of the game, the jury summed up the results and the winners were awarded diplomas, which was a worthy conclusion to this intellectual competition. The event not only contributed to the deepening of knowledge about culture and literature, but also strengthened the ties between educational institutions, inspiring students to further study the rich heritage of Belarusian literature.
