On the eve of Women's Day, on March 5, the opening of the exhibition of reproductions «Beauty, Truth and Love. Women in Russian Art» took place.

The role of women in art is a topic that arouses constant interest and opens up new horizons in understanding art. We invite you to be inspired by the unique views on the world of women artists Zinaida Serebryakova, Natalia Goncharova and Vera Mukhina.

The event was attended by the director of the library Tatyana Adamyan, who noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity not only to enjoy art, but also to think about the role of women in history and modernity. Yulia Bogdanova, a teacher of the Department of Fine Arts at the Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov, drew the attention of those present to the fact that the works reflect not only individual experiences, but also a wide range of social and cultural topics, and called on people not only to look, but also to feel and reflect. The exhibition is organized within the framework of the Agreement on cooperation and joint activities between the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin and the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus.

The exhibition will last until March 23.
