A preventive talk dedicated to the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking was held in the library for students of the Vitebsk State Industrial College.

The senior detective of the department for drug control and combating human trafficking of the internal affairs department of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk, Major Andrei Busel, informed young people about the types of crimes related to the distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues, administrative and criminal liability for the use, storage and sale of narcotic drugs, and supported what was said with examples from practice.

A lively and accessible form of interaction allowed us to once again remind young people that they need to be vigilant, attentive and careful in real life. And remember two important postulates: «Forewarned is forearmed» and «Ignorance of the law does not exempt from responsibility.»
