During the celebration of Maslenitsa, the department of literature on art held creative master classes for schoolchildren, where children learned about the history, traditions and customs of this holiday.
Maslenitsa week is accompanied by fairs, songs, games, dances and fun, and the main treat of the holiday is blinis (pancakes), which symbolize the sun and warmth.
Maslenitsa remains a beloved and long-awaited holiday, and thematic master classes are a great opportunity to get acquainted with folk culture. During the classes, children made souvenirs – bright suns, symbolizing warmth, spring and the awakening of nature.
