
«State symbols of the Republic of Belarus. Calendar of holidays»

On February 27, the premiere screening of the animated film «State symbols of the Republic of Belarus. Calendar of holidays» was launched in the «Dom Kino» cinema in our city. It is intended for children of preschool and primary school age.
The film consists of six episodes, which tell about important state holidays of Belarus in a language accessible to young viewers, and also explain the meaning of state symbols.
Last year, the animated film received a diploma «For a frank and necessary conversation with the younger generation» at the Minsk International Film Festival «Listapad». Directors – Konstantin Andryushechkin, Irina Tarasova, Tatyana Nagorskaya, Elena Turova and Natalia Kostyuchenko.
Before the cartoon screening, the head of the youth department Svetlana Yelenskaya explained to the younger students the meaning and importance of such holidays as Constitution Day and Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, Victory Day, National Unity Day, as well as the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
The staff of the youth department presented an exhibition of books from the library collection «Symbols of the Belarusian State», which fully reveal the theme of the event.
