Creative evening to the 60th anniversary of the poet Nikolai Namestnikov

On November 3, a creative evening «I go and go this way ...» dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the poet and laureate of the «Literary Award named after Petrus Brovka» of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Namestnikov was held in the library.

Colleagues-writers, admirers of his creative work, classmates, teachers and the youth came to congratulate the poet with the significant date. Chairperson of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Association «Union of Belarusian Writers» Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko congratulated Nikolai Namestnikov with the title «Honorary Member of the Union of Belarusian Writers» and noted his high human qualities, civic position and poetic talent.

The release of his new collection of poetry «Ask the Earth», published by the publishing house «Mastatskaya Litaratura», became a wonderful gift for the poet to the anniversary. Nikolai Namestnikov read both his poems, which are already loved by many people and poems from the new book. Poet Inna Solomakho performed a song «Leaffall», which lines are from several poems of Nikolai Namestnikov. Kind words of congratulations were heard from the poets Galina Zagurskaya, Elena Fedyaeva and the writer Sergei Krasov.

Nikolai Namestnikov started his career at secondary school № 34 of Vitebsk. Warmly and heartily congratulated him teachers-veterans of the school, classmate Igor Perednev, as well as his former pupil, and now the school librarian Marina Onishchenko.
