Regional Video Contest «Reading Together Bogdanovich Poetry»

On the 14th of December the library hosted the literary evening «The Star of Venus Rose in the Sky...», dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Belarusian poet M. Bogdanovich, which also included the ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional video contest «Reading Together Bogdanovich Poetry», dedicated to the Year of Culture in the Republic of Belarus.
The main reason for the contest was to promote the legacy of the great classic of Belarusian literature. Vitebsk regional organization of the trade union of cultural, information, sport and tourism workers contributed to the organization of the event.

Four videos featuring reading of Bogdanovich's poems competed for prizes places in that category

Collective work of the Department of Library Marketing at the Central Library named after A. Pushkin of the State Cultural Institution «Centralized Library System of Orsha».

– video «Kastyol Sv. Anny u Vilni»,
Individual work of first category librarian Lyudmila Semenas from the Children Library named after V. Dubovka of the State Cultural Institution «Centralized Library System of Postavy »;
– video «Slutskiya Tkachykhy»,
Individual work of chief librarian Marina Izaitko from the Department of Library Marketing at the Central District Library of the State Cultural Institution «Centralized Library System of Glubokaye».

The category encompassed videos that pay tribute to the poet.

Collective work of the State Institution «Centralized Library System of Vitebsk» (poems written by Anna Shashutkina, Director of the library-branch No.19 named after E. Los'; artistic design made by Valentina Gugnyavykh, Head of the Reading Room Department at the Cetral Municipal Library named after M. Gorky).
