Regional Workshop «Modern Trends in Library Service – Regional Experience»

On the 29th and 30th of October the central district library of Braslaw hosted a regional workshop for the heads of the departments of information and service of central municipal and district libraries.
The workshop, called «Modern Trends in Library Service – Regional Experience», was attended by the administration and specialists of the Vitebsk regional library, the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the district executive committee of Braslaw and other public libraries from all over the region.
During the workshop the representatives of the Braslaw, Orsha, Polotsk, Lepiel and Liozna districts and the town of Novopolotsk delivered their reports on the librarian service in their towns and districts. The participants of the workshop made creative visits to the Braslaw children's library and the libraries of Slobodka, Drujsk and Druya.
The reports given by the participants of the workshop will be compiled and published at a later date.
