The exhibition of floral paintings «Vitebsk. With love forever» opened on November 14 in the gallery of the 1st floor of the regional library.
Members of the «Anyuta» people's club of the State Institution «Cultural and Historical Complex «Golden Ring of the City of Vitebsk «Dvina» dedicated their works to their beloved city in the year of its 1050th anniversary.
The exhibition presents 32 works by 14 authors, reflecting the history and architecture of Vitebsk: «The Great Lubavitch Synagogue in Vitebsk», «The Church of the Resurrection of Christ», «Vitebsk Remembers Marc Chagall», «Silver of Vitebsk Fountains», «Ancient Vitebsk» ...
In the paintings of the masters, one should not look for a photographic resemblance to urban reality. Each author chose a theme for himself that most fully reflects his spiritual world and skill. All works are distinguished by style, color and choice of plant material. The exhibition introduces a variety of techniques: floral painting, collage, graphics, mixed media.
