Musical and theatrical evening «Always young at heart»

In our country, along with many holidays and memorable dates, there is a pleasant holiday – Day of the elderly, which is celebrated on October 1.
This day provides an excellent opportunity to express deep respect and say warm words of gratitude to all elderly people for their conscientious work, for their vast life experience, for kindness and wisdom.
On September 27, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin and the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk», a concert program for the Day of the elderly «Always young at heart» was held.
The head of the sector of ideological work and youth affairs of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Igor Kiryutenko and the director of the State Institution «TCSON Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk» Ekaterina Zheleznitskaya congratulated the older generation on the holiday.
For the guests of the holiday, amateur performances of the theater group «Mirror» with a miniature «Life of modern grandmothers», choreographic productions from the dance group «Dance together» were prepared, both lyrical and cheerful songs were heard, and the performance of the dance group and the youngest readers of the State Educational Institution «Kindergarten № 36 of Vitebsk «Praleska» complemented the holiday.
The best concert numbers of the amateur performance participants were a pleasant gift for the guests. And the guests themselves were not passive: they rejoiced and actively sang along. Thus proving once again that life goes on and at any age it is beautiful and interesting.
