Under the quality mark: annotated bibliographic list

Quality is one of the central concepts in human life, regardless of age, place of residence and aesthetic preferences. In all technologically advanced countries of the world, much attention is paid to the problems of improving the quality of manufactured products.
In our country, since the mid-1990s, achieving quality in all spheres of the country's life was initially defined as the most important task of state policy. In Belarus, quality is considered, first of all, from the standpoint of the quality of people's lives. In order to further improve the quality of life of the Belarusian people, ensure the competitiveness of the national economy on the world stage, stimulate initiative, form responsibility in society for the results of their work and a sense of involvement in the future of the country, the Head of State signed Decree No. 375 «On declaring 2024 the Year of Quality» on November 27, 2023.
The Department of Information and Bibliographic Work has prepared an annotated bibliographic list «Under the Quality Mark». The manual presents publications from the collections of the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin, dedicated to the problem of quality, disclosure of state policy in the field of improving quality in various spheres of life of Belarusian society, familiarization with successful practice of quality management in enterprises and organizations.
