Noisy and cheerful in August in the Rare Book Department. The exhibition «Wonder Books to Wonder Children» is held here, which attracts attention and arouses positive emotions in children and adults.

Among the visitors of the exhibition there are many pupils of summer school camps. They get acquainted with the most unusual editions, which are available in the regional library. A modern book is not only and not always a hard cover and paper pages. Pages can be fluffy, the book can be shaped like a car, and illustrations can be three-dimensional or even talking.

The most inquisitive visitors have the opportunity to dive into the underwater world together with the heroes of the book «Ocean» and literally hear its sounds. With the help of 3D glasses, bright pages of books about distant galaxies came to life, and a magic magnifying glass helped young explorers in solving difficult tasks.
