Vitebsk schoolchildren spend the last month of summer vacation in an interactive format using the resources of the regional library, developing their intellectual abilities, creative thinking and general knowledge.

The Department of Marketing and Socio-Cultural Activities continues the cycle of events for summer campers.

The thematic session «Library without Secrets» develops interest in reading and books in a playful way. Pupils of secondary school № 31 named after V. Khoruzhaya got acquainted with the process of the library's work, the order of placement and storage of books, the conditions of registration of readers. The cartoon characters helped to memorize the rules of issuing and returning books. A visit to the exhibition «Miracle Books to Miracle Children» gave them bright impressions and inspired them for further reading.

The 1050th anniversary of Vitebsk was an occasion to test the knowledge about the native city. Meetings with students from secondary schools No. 12 No. 17 discussed the legends of Vitebsk's foundation, occasions of the Great Patriotic War and many facts from the region's history and culture.
