The exhibition of arts and crafts «Warmth of soul and the creation of hands»

On December 8, as a part of the library project «Together! » was held awarding the participants of the annual exhibition of arts and crafts of visually impaired people «Warmth of soul and creation of hands».

The works made in various techniques, such as painting, artistic and traditional embroidery, textile, weaving from different materials, knitting, quilling, and beadwork were presented at the exhibition.

The Chairman of Vitebsk regional organization of public Association «Beltiz» Konstantin Lamchanovsky and his deputy Natalya Avgustinovich summed up the results of the exhibition, which has worked in the library since October, 17 and awarded the participants with diplomas and memorable prizes.

The psychologist of the « Vitebsk Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health» Angelika Dikanova made brief speech «Optimism, which is against the difficulties of life».

There were songs and poems performed by Ludmila Selivanova and Larisa Tuminskaya.

Visually impaired people are people who have found strength to live, work, create and be a source of optimism for others.
