On September 15, a round table «Mediation is the art of resolving conflicts» for first-year students of the Faculty of Law from «MITSO» took place in the library. The round table was organized by the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Vitebsk Regional Library.

Nowadays interest in the development of mediation and conflict resolution skills is actively growing in the Republic of Belarus. The event was opened by the Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Sergey Konopelko and his Deputy Head of the Department of Notaries, Registry Offices and Control over the Activities of Licensees for the Provision of Legal Services Tatyana Khorushevskaya.

Deputy Chairman of Vitebsk Regional Bar Association Vera Shloma, the Head of the Legal Information Laboratory of the Faculty of Law of Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov Ekaterina Rebitskaya, the Head of the First Vitebsk Notary Office Nataliya Tsarenko and mediators Maria Golikova - Gribanova and Kristina Stukanova.

The staff of the Public Center for Legal Information prepared a book exhibition for the event.
