On March 1, a legal education hour «To know in order not to make a mistake», dedicated to the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held for 2nd year students of Humanitarian Faculty of Vitebsk branch of International University «MITSO» of specialty «Jurisprudence».

The examples of criminal cases on the facts of illicit drug trafficking were presented to the participants by Mikhail Yemelyanov, a senior investigator of the Department for Investigation of Crimes against Information Security and Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus in Vitebsk region.

Karina Minayeva, the head of the adolescent and narcological department of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Psychiatry and Narcology, spoke about the consequences of drug use.

Senior prison chaplain, archpriest, the member of Vitebsk consistory, Father Sergius Zakharov, revealed the social danger of drug addiction.
